Giving Back to Future Generations
When Karl Nelson decided to go back to school at age 40, he was a little nervous. At Saskatchewan Polytechnic, he remembers being supported through the process of becoming a student again. “Staff and faculty made it simple, they made all the difference for me,” he says.
Karl’s experience inspired him to dedicate a portion of his estate to Saskatchewan Polytechnic for program development. “It was an opportunity to do something for the future, for people who haven’t even been born yet.”
